WHAT IT DOES
The full reverse-foot leg, with premium twist
Ribbon Leg is the full reverse-foot leg with premium twist added. It keeps the whole foot rig from the free leg (heel and toe controls, a foot-roll slider, toe wiggle) and adds smooth ribbon twist on the thigh and shin, so the leg deforms cleanly through big hip swings and deep knee bends.

FK controls, an IK foot control, and an IK/FK switch with match
Smooth twist spread down the thigh and the shin, with floating tweak controls

Drop Ribbon Leg on a four-joint hip-knee-ankle-ball chain and build the rig.

Animate the foot with the heel and toe controls and the foot_roll slider, pose the leg with IK or FK, and the thigh and shin twist flows underneath.

Shape the twist with the floating ribbon controls if you want more control along each bone.

Reach for Ribbon Leg when a walk or run needs clean thigh and shin twist. The free IK Leg gives you the reverse foot without the ribbon.
The foot is the free foot
The foot is not ribboned, so everything about the foot (including picking the right foot-roll axis for your skeleton) behaves exactly like the free IK Leg.
Filtered thigh, carried ankle
The thigh twist is filtered, so a hip swing does not candy-wrap the thigh. The ankle twist carries through in both IK and FK.
Set-and-rebuild options
Mid-control count and ribbon width are set-and-rebuild options - change them in Edit Mode and rebuild.
