Every rig starts with the skeleton

01 · AUTHOR
Place & shape the Armature controls. This is the editable stage.
02 · BUILD
Aimers auto-align each joint; symmetry mirrors live. Then bake.

03 · BUILT RIG
Clean, engine-ready skeleton. Non-destructive: unbuild to return.
Auto-orient
Joints orient themselves as you move them. Aimers always show the final orientation of each joint.
Live symmetry
Symmetry mirrors one side onto the other as you work. Turn it off for asymmetry.
Non-destructive
Stays live. Restructure at any point; skinned meshes detach and rebind automatically around edits.
How
The Armature toolbar

Five actions drive the Armature:
Skeleton
Add & structure joints in the outliner.
Aimers
Show the final orientation of each joint.
Mirror
Mirror a limb across the center axis.
Duplicate
Copy limbs as needed.
Symmetry
Keep both sides matched live. Toggle off for asymmetry.
Per-limb actions
Right-click any limb in the Rig Outliner to Mirror it across the center axis or Duplicate it. The same menu adds or removes components, saves the limb as a preset, or deletes it.

Start with a Template, a single root joint, or bring your own skeleton.

Move the Armature Controls around to place the skeleton.

Watch the Aimers move, they represent the final orientation of each joint.

Use Symmetry to keep the skeleton symmetrical. Turn off for asymmetry.

Duplicate & Mirror limbs as needed.

Hit Build Rig. It's non-destructive. Unbuild and land right back in the Armature with nothing lost.
